This electric water heater thermostat corresponds to model WH5-4 with a rated voltage of 115VAC. It has a temperature adjustment range of 110-170°F and is equipped with an adjustable slotted knob for easy operation. Built-in with a high-limit reset button (L180), it is specially designed for single heating element water heaters only, not suitable for multi-heating element models. Adopting an encapsulated bimetallic temperature control sensor, it has higher sensitivity and accuracy than conventional thermostats, avoiding interference from temperature changes of other components to achieve stable temperature control. The wiring terminals feature a teardrop hole design, which facilitates wire locking and fixing, simplifies the installation process and ensures stable wiring. The 180°F over-temperature protection function will be automatically triggered when the temperature exceeds the standard, and the device can be restored by pressing the reset button, improving the safety of equipment operation.
