The new Lévis Police Station and Courthouse stands as a symbol of civic engagement, combining security, transparency and modernity. Built near the city centre, this multifunctional building exemplifies a perfect mastery of institutional architecture, both functional and representative.
STEKAR was commissioned in December 2022 to design and install the entire exterior and interior envelope. The goal: to provide a high-performance, durable façade in harmony with the city’s architectural style. The result is distinguished by:
- 22,000 square feet of exterior curtain wall, ensuring natural light, aesthetics and energy efficiency
- 5 floors of precision, including 2 underground floors, to meet the complex needs of the programme
- More than 100 interior partitions, installed with millimetre precision
- 5,250 sq ft of interior glass, promoting transparency and fluidity in circulation and work spaces
