The Libertas commercial complex in Saint-Hubert is a contemporary real estate project featuring a clean STE-6000 curtain wall façade designed by STEKAR. Created by Patrice Gamache, the building showcases a continuous band of curtain wall glass on each floor, giving the structure a professional elegance and visually connecting the interior offices to the exterior.
These glazed sections are framed and interspersed with Class A aluminum panels, which conceal the floor slabs and provide visual modulation across the full height of the façade. The aluminum panel system not only adds aesthetic refinement through its clean lines but also enhances the building envelope’s thermal insulation and weather resistance.
During construction, STEKAR coordinated the integration of the curtain walls with other envelope elements, such as masonry at the base, to ensure airtight transitions. The technical performance of the façade includes low-emissivity coatings for energy efficiency and a pressure-equalized rainscreen system for long-term durability.
The sleek façade of the Libertas complex attracts tenants with its modern appearance while guaranteeing long-lasting energy efficiency and optimal maintenance performance.
