Complexe Vision is a modern commercial complex located in the Lebourgneuf district of Québec City, known for its medical offices and ophthalmology clinics. Groupe Moreau Beaudoin used STEKAR’s STE-6000 curtain wall system to create a bright and welcoming façade for both patients and professionals.
The building’s façade faces the street and features a tall curtain wall section that marks the main entrance and floods the lobby with natural light. On either side, the façade continues with a rhythmic pattern of window bands and aluminum composite panels, giving the building a sleek, almost high-tech appearance that aligns with the “Vision” theme.
The curtain wall incorporates tinted glazing to reduce glare in examination rooms while still allowing natural light and offering clear views. The aluminum panels are highly insulated (meeting healthcare facility standards) and arranged in a pattern that adds visual interest while providing opportunities for signage.
This façade was designed to deliver optimal thermal performance and easy maintenance—both essential for a medical office building. By combining advanced glazing with elegant cladding, the exterior of Complexe Vision reflects clarity and precision—qualities valued in the medical field—while ensuring energy efficiency and occupant comfort throughout the year.
