This medical office complex located in the Lebourgneuf sector of Québec City was designed to provide state-of-the-art healthcare spaces in a welcoming environment for patients. The building’s façade uses STEKAR’s Multifaçades system as the main cladding solution.
The exterior is composed of large, flat insulated panels with a clean white finish, punctuated by glazed strips for offices and waiting rooms. This approach ensures high thermal performance and the privacy required (for examination rooms), while still allowing natural light and views into public areas. The Multifaçades panels offer a uniform appearance with minimal joints, contributing to a sense of cleanliness and precision ideal for a healthcare facility.
In addition, the panels were manufactured with integrated anchors for fast installation, reducing on-site construction time — a technical advantage that allowed medical tenants to occupy the building sooner.
The entrance hall features a two-storey glass curtain wall (using Stekar’s aluminum glazing system), providing a welcoming and transparent entry that highlights the building’s interior greenery.
Overall, the façade meets the strict requirements of healthcare architecture: it is highly durable, easy to maintain, and energy-efficient, while projecting a calm and professional presence to the community.
