The Simons store, located in the Laurier Québec shopping center, has undergone a spectacular renovation of its façade as part of its modernization. Lemay Michaud’s design for the storefront uses STEKAR’s Multifaçades panel system in a creative and brand-focused way. The new exterior facade consists of a latticework of custom perforated metal panels and back-painted glass panels that wrap around the upper portion of the facade, forming a dynamic pattern reminiscent of fabric textures.

These insulating panels not only offer a distinctive aesthetic, but also improve the store’s thermal envelope. At street level, large glass windows and entrances (integrated into STEKAR aluminum frames) provide high transparency and showcase Simons’ fashion items. The combination of the artistic cladding of the panels above and the transparent glazing below creates a strong visual identity and attracts customers. From a technical standpoint, the panel system was designed to incorporate LED backlighting, highlighting the facade pattern at night for an even more spectacular effect.
