Stekar designs, manufactures, and installs facade systems for architectural, commercial, and multiresidential construction projects. We supply conventional curtain wall and aluminum panel building envelopes, as well as our MultifaçadesTM system. We take pride in our turnkey approach and the close working relationships we build with customers, general contractors, architects, installers, and partners.
Stekar was founded in 1993 by Raynald Doyon and his wife. The company got its start in a modest 3,000 sq. ft. facility in the town of Notre-Dame-des-Pins in Quebec’s Beauce region. The venture was successful right from the start. In its first year, Stekar won a regional new entrepreneurs competition—and it has never looked back since.
Today, nearly 30 years later, the company has added thousands of square feet of space and invested millions to secure cutting-edge digital management systems and high-tech production equipment, firmly establishing itself as a highly competitive construction industry player.
Stekar is now well regarded in the industry—and well on the way to transitioning to Industry 4.0 automation. The company has made new technologies and innovation a core component of its strategy to constantly increase its ability to offer turnkey service to customers and partners.
And that’s just a start. In the years ahead, Stekar plans to build on the success of its exclusive MultifaçadesTM system to expand into out-of-province markets.
