STEKAR offers four main product families:

Multifaçades™ — a pressure-equalized rain-screen system integrating flush windows and various cladding materials for optimized performance and durability.

Curtain wall systems — with caps, silicone joints, operable vents, or unitized/prefabricated modules.

Commercial windows (STE-4000 series) — for fixed or operable configurations.

Façade retrofits — modernizing existing envelopes while improving energy performance and occupant comfort.

STEKAR specializes in large-scale façade projects and is particularly agile in dense urban environments thanks to prefabricated strategies and custom-engineered glazing and window solutions.

We deliver both new-build and retrofit building envelopes for residential towers, hotels, institutional facilities, commercial buildings, and mixed-use developments. Our Multifaçades system is adaptable to low-rise and high-rise applications, while our curtain wall systems and STE-4000 commercial windows are engineered for demanding conditions.

Early involvement is ideal. STEKAR can advise during conceptual design, schematic design, or the bidding phase. Early collaboration helps align budget, detailing, and performance expectations.

That said, STEKAR can also join later in a project to support detailing or value-engineering efforts.

STEKAR collaborates with architects, façade consultants, general contractors, developers, and building owners. Early collaboration across these stakeholders helps optimize budgets, detailing, and performance outcomes.

Yes. STEKAR offers pre-construction assistance including façade detailing, specification development, budget ranges, and value-engineering suggestions. Even at the preliminary drawing phase, we can provide a meaningful budgetary estimate.

All systems are engineered and fabricated in controlled environments. Curtain walls and Multifaçades panels undergo ASTM, NFRC, and CSA testing. Rigorous manufacturing procedures and inspection protocols maintain dimensional accuracy and performance.

During installation, STEKAR or approved installers follow documented procedures to ensure air- and water-tightness. STEKAR can also supervise critical phases of the installation process.

Yes. STEKAR supports prefabrication strategies across all building envelope systems — including Multifaçades panels, prefabricated (unitized) curtain wall modules, and pre-assembled commercial window units.

This approach speeds up installation, improves repeatability, and reduces on-site risk, especially in dense urban and high-rise project environments.

Although STEKAR is not a general contractor, we operate our own installation company — Vitralum — our Canadian installation partner. Vitralum handles full façade installation needs and brings extensive, proven experience across a wide range of envelope systems and project environments.

STEKAR offers post-construction review and maintenance guidance through its construction company, Vitralum. They provide a comprehensive post-project completion service to ensure all details are finalized. STEKAR is committed to the long-term performance of every building in their portfolio.
