Curtain Walls

The Bromont Incubator is a strong example of how curtain wall and Multifaçades can be combined to deliver clarity, daylight, and architectural continuity. The façade strategy intentionally contrasts transparency at ground level with a more articulated upper envelope—while keeping the building’s expression cohesive.

STEKAR delivered approximately 290 m² of Series 6000 curtain wall, distributed across around thirty wall segments, primarily at the ground floor and within the interior courtyard. This layout maximizes natural daylight, improves occupant comfort, and supports a welcoming, open public interface.

On the exterior façade, the envelope is built around Multifaçades Vision paired with aluminum panels: about 105 m² of vision glass and 800+ m² of Multifaçades aluminum panels. Together, these elements create a deliberate contrast between the ground floor and upper level, while maintaining a unified architectural reading.

A key feature of the project is the upper-level curved Multifaçades panels, which follow the building’s geometry without breaking façade continuity. The curves continue into the interior courtyard, where curtain wall glazing was used to bring daylight deep into the building, enhancing user comfort.
