The Québec City Central Police Station is a six-story building covering a total area of 31,785 m². The project showcases extensive use of glass, from simple clear tempered partitions to bullet-resistant glazing, representing over 4,500 sq. ft. of interior glass surfaces. On the exterior, 17,815 sq. ft. of curtain wall systems (STE-6000 series) were integrated seamlessly with the building envelope.
Our team was present throughout the project, delivering both the envelope and the interior finishes, including glazed partitions, exterior and interior doors, and specialized glazing works. This collaboration highlighted the successful integration between curtain walls and exterior cladding, as well as between interior partitions and the architectural design, resulting in a timeless and durable finish. The project was designed by CCM2 and built by general contractor Pomerleau.
