Curtain walls STE-6000
The Multisports Center is a state-of-the-art sports and fitness complex. Its exterior features STEKAR’s STE-6000 curtain walls, used to maximize daylight in key areas of the facility. An impressive curtain wall segment at the main entrance reveals the climbing wall and running track inside, turning the building into a beacon of wellness. Additional curtain wall bands line the indoor tennis courts and training studios, giving athletes outdoor views and abundant natural light.
These glazed surfaces are balanced by opaque façade sections clad in neutral insulated panels, ensuring thermal efficiency and providing surfaces for the centre’s signage. STEKAR’s curtain wall system for this project includes long-span glass units and high-strength framing to accommodate the wide interior spans of the facility. The glass is treated to minimize glare on playing surfaces and control solar heat.
This cutting-edge façade creates a bright and energizing environment for users while standing up to heavy use and the large temperature variations typical of sports facilities. The building envelope of the Multisports Center demonstrates how modern glazing can elevate sports architecture without compromising performance.
