Jefo, a leader in the animal nutrition industry, built an ultramodern headquarters featuring a hybrid façade engineered by STEKAR. Designed by Justin Viens Architectes, the building envelope combines STEKAR’s insulated Multifacades panel system with sections of the STE-6000 curtain wall. Sleek white and gray metal panels wrap the office wings, while strategically placed full-height glass curtain walls bring natural light and openness to key interior spaces.
Notably, horizontal aluminum sunshades are integrated on the sunniest façades, reducing heat gain and glare for increased comfort. This technical integration of sunshades and high-performance glazing reflects Jefo’s innovative values and sustainability objectives. The façade design gives the headquarters its distinct character: transparent where visibility and natural light are desired, and opaque where insulation is essential.
