The Multifaçades system by STEKAR was used for the envelope of the new building. The façade combines restored heritage elements with a high-performance cladding, integrating glass and opaque insulated panels to achieve both energy efficiency and optimal aesthetics.
Three additional floors were added on top of the preserved structure, using a lightweight façade system to minimize structural load.
The result is a hybrid façade that reinterprets Art Deco verticality in a modern way, providing contemporary residents with abundant natural light and enhanced thermal performance, while paying homage to the building’s cinematic past.
