The Synergia Complex is a dynamic office and commercial building located in the Saint-Hyacinthe industrial park. The façade combines sections of STE-6000 curtain wall and aluminum panel cladding to present a modern and collaborative image. Vertical curtain wall bands rise over several floors at the corners and entrances of the building, creating glass-like curtain elements that break up the mass and bring light into the interior corridors.
Between these glazed sections, large aluminum panels form a clean, continuous surface that hides the floor lines and houses the insulation. The panels are finished in a silver and charcoal color palette, giving the complex a high-tech aesthetic.
Functionally, the façade is designed to be low-maintenance and highly insulated—an essential feature for tenants working in scientific and technological fields. STEKAR worked closely with the project team to integrate signage and lighting into the panels without compromising the integrity of the building envelope.
The envelope not only meets high energy-efficiency standards but also embodies the concept of “synergy” by uniting glass and metal, form and function. It stands as a landmark of modern commercial architecture in Saint-Hyacinthe.
